About Our Cremation Urns:
Our urn designs are not your typical urns; they represent a journey. They are works of art. We have chosen our collection themes for the peace that they offer and for their ability to transcend time, place and people.
Our urns refer to inspirations; the winds that blow softly across our faces, drying our tears; the mountains we parallel to our own challenges; the stars we secretly wish upon as children; the philosophers we look to for refreshment. Each design offers more than one purpose. They do not merely serve as an urn but also as a space to harbor memories and offer beauty in daily life.
We here at Haley-Daniels hope the meaning behind these art pieces will help you select not just an urn but also a memorial. We feel confident that within our selection you will find the design which will serve as a tribute to that special individual.

Winds of the World Collection:
Lifting us up, it pushes us along in life. In times of pain, it blows upon our faces to comfort us. In times of contemplation, it provokes our thoughts and dreams. For those that pause to watch, it brushes quickly past grassy meadows and waves to the heavens above.
|
The Mountain Collection:
All that we seek in life, it has been said, can be found in the mountains: the essence of life, peace, wisdom, fulfillment. Unspoiled by civilization, they offer a simplicity that we long for. High and majestic, they leave us breathlessly amazed. Some attempt to climb them, a few summit them, and many more go to the mountains on quest of self renewal and understanding.
“Thousands of... people are beginning to find out that going to the mountains is going home; that wilderness is a necessity; and that mountain parks are useful...as fountains of life.”
- - John Muir, 1901

Note: urns in this collection are non-burial type urns. They are meant to hang on the wall in a prominent place. It is an art piece with hidden compartment, shelf area and can be used just for that instead of as an urn. The hidden compartment is accessed through the removable back.

The Star Collection:
On a clear night, away from city lights, we can see almost 2,000 stars. With a three-inch telescope, this visibility multiplies: now hundreds of thousands of stars can be gazed upon. The light travels at 186,000 miles per second for us to see it. Some of this light is red, some is yellow, and some is bluish white. We are in awe. The over eighty-eight constellations and legends that throughout time we have created to remember them help us understand the passing of time that they symbolize.
This collection pays homage to the stars and their ability to explain for us what otherwise cannot be explained.
“Long ago, many Indians believed stars were really eyes in the sky. Some people still believe stars watch over all of us at night.”
- Jamie Jobb, The Night Sky Book

The Philosopher Collection:
The history of philosophy is the history of our self awareness and wonder with the world. It is a broad area, calling into question mythology, cultural and personal self identity, science and religion. Often it is a collective process, explaining the trends, ideas, and movements of the times. More importantly, it is personal. “How is philosophy learned?” Blackburn poses in Think. “A better question is; how can thinking skills be acquired?”
“Imagination abandoned by reason produces impossible monsters: united with her, she is the master of the arts and source of her wonders.”
